Players must register to attend tryouts. Rep team details can be found here , and tryout information and registration are available here . The registration fee is $20 if completed before June 30 (discount applied automatically at checkout), and $40 after that date. Team decisions, including viability, will be based on registration numbers, so early sign-up is strongly encouraged. Sufficient player registration—along with certified coaches—is required for teams to proceed.
We are hoping to run as many rep teams as possible next year, and we are inviting interested candidates to submit prior to the end of June an application to coach or assistant coach a rep team. We recognize the need for a proper recreation facility for Collingwood. The Town of Collingwood has teamed up with the Town of the Blue Mountains for a joint feasibility study to explore recreation needs for both municipalities and the surrounding area. For a major undertaking such as a multi use recreation facility, a feasibility study is a required information gathering, public consultation and reporting process. Coaches vs Coaches Charity basketball game on December 17th. It was an event full of cheers, laughs, hustle and fun. Our club donated hundreds of non-perishable food items to our local food bank. At halftime we recognized our 2 Trailblazer Spotlight individuals. Colton Rumford (U15 B player) and Coach Jay (Trailblazer coach for the past 26 years). To say the gym was loud on December 17th is an understatement! The FANS were amazing! Thank you to everyone for participating in such a wonderful evening that supported our local food bank. It was so nice to have so many Trailblazers together in one gym!
JAB Training has donated a week’s earnings to the Trailblazers Opportunities Fund, in order to financially support families with participation in our club basketball programs. Thank you Jackson for your generous spirit and for sharing with the next generation your passion and knowledge of the game! Your height aside, kids should “look up to you” as a positive role model on and off the court.
